Cricket catch game
A fan on the Blundstone Arena slope was spotted sprinting to his left in an attempt to capture the ball before colliding with two individuals and knocking their meal over.
Another fan sitting among the spectators completed the catch. In the footage provided by Big Bash League on its official Twitter handle, the fan can be seen sprinting to his left, going for the catch, but instead colliding with two fans in the crowd, knocking their food over.
After the ball slides out of the man's hand who had gone to catch it, another spectator, positioned just behind where the collision occurred, makes a flawless one-handed catch. Here's a video of the stunning catch. Is this the best crowd catch ever?! The Hobart crowd are outdoing themselves every single match! As far as the match is concerned, Brisbane Heat won the game despite failing to post a big target in the first innings.
Nathan Ellis and Tom Rogers performed well with the ball for the Hurricanes as they picked three and two wickets, respectively. A humorous event occurred during the match when a child was observed sitting in the stands wearing his wicketkeeping gloves.
During the high-scoring contest, 16 sixes were struck, and the young man must have expected one of them to come his way. Coming back to the match, Perth Scorchers won the toss and elected to bat first at the Kardinia Park Stadium. The Scorchers scored runs in the first innings courtesy of a run knock Laurie Evans. The wicketkeeper-batsman smashed 69 off 46 balls including two boundaries and five maximums before he was dismissed by Haris Rauf.
Nick Hobson scored 46 off 36 balls before he was removed by Adam Zampa. Skipper Ashton Turner also contributed to the huge total as he scored an unbeaten 47 off 26 balls. Beau Webster was the sole half-centurion for the side as he scored 63 off 47 balls before being dismissed by Andrew Tye.
Joe Burns was the second-highest run-getter for the Stars on Tuesday as he scored 20 off 17 balls Matthew Kelly sent him back to the pavilion by taking a catch off his own bowling.
