Hey guys, been having some huge problems with my Dell Dimension over the last day or two and was wondering if any of you guys should help me out as I'm just about all out of ideas. Basically when I start up my computer, it shows the screen with the Dell logo and the progress bar on it, once it's finished with the boot up sequence I get a message saying:.

Okay, so that's the interesting stuff out of the way, what basically happened was last week I was on my computer, playing a game World of Warcraft went afk for a little while, came back to my computer and was greeted by the BSOD. Not very nice, so I rebooted and was greeted with the above message.

I've scoured these forums a little bit before I posted this message here and tried the other solutions I could find, to date I have tried:. To reinstall Windows, but when I run the windows XP disk, it begins booting all the information and then tells me that no Hard Drive has been detected and only lets me press F3 to exit and reboot my computer, upon doing so I'm right back where I started.

Now, I thought maybe my keyboard was playing up, but I have taken it and tested it on this computer and it works fine, also on the same process, right after it gives you the option to press F6 and install the RAID drivers, it also gives you the option to press F2 if you hadn't pressed F6 already and run the Automated System Recovery, I pressed F2 and was prompted to insert my ASR diskette, so I knew the keyboard WAS working properly.

I've done this several times and no matter what, when I press F6 nothing happens, it just continues loading the Windows Installation CD. Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type. Showing results for. Search instead for.

Can someone please link me to the correct drivers, thats what I was asking. I just need to know which are the correct drivers, and I needed someone who has found resolution to send me a link. I think I may have used the incorrect driver. I'm not sure but this could be a posibility.

Can someone please verify if this is correct? I'm leaning toward the last one, I'm not sure which of these I have tried, there are other drivers on the page that deals with this model. Many of them are too large for a floppy. This is why I asked the question in the first place. Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility. Its in built in xp it self.
